Acceptable Credit Cards
The charge card must be in the renter’s name. Pre-paid credit cards are accepted. Debit cards with Visa logos may be accepted on short-term car rentals. We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card.
Payment Methods
Dream Exotics Miami accepts the following forms of payment for rental deposits: VISA, Master Card, AMEX, Discover, Diners Club, Cash, Debit cards and Major Crypto Currencies.
Renter
Renters may purchase Loss of Use Waiver at the time of rental. WRITTEN PROOF OF LIABILITY COVERAGE IS REQUIRED AT OUR OFFICE.
Vehicles Leaving Florida
Our vehicles are never allowed outside of Florida.
Driving Area
NO CARS ARE PERMITTED INTO CANADA OR MEXICO.
Driver
All drivers must have a valid driver’s license in their possession to rent a vehicle. No copies or faxed licenses will be accepted at any time. The original license must be presented and must be in the name of the driver. The renter’s driver’s license must be valid for the entire rental period, with the following exception: An International Driving Permit (IDP) serves only as a translation of a valid driver’s license. An IDP must always be presented in conjunction with the official driver’s license of the issuing country. Dream Exotics Miami will not rent to a holder of a license that restricts them to daytime driving only or to business driving only. A learner’s permit is not accepted. A valid temporary license is accepted. Expired licenses will not be accepted.
Contract Rates
If your vehicle is needed beyond the due date stated at the time of the opening of the contract, the customer MUST return to the original rental office and sign a new contract. The rate is subject to change. When a vehicle is reserved and rented, the confirmed rate is only good during that specific time period. Any extension or revision of the original reservation of any amount of time will result in a rate change. Rates are not pro-rated.
Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation fee is $500 for all cancellations or no-shows. Upon making your reservation, a $500 non-refundable booking deposit is required for all reservations. Dream Exotics Miami reserves the right to cancel reservation / rental to any customer we deem uninsured, underinsured or otherwise unable to operate the car in a safe and legal manner, in such a situation the customer will not be charged a cancellation fee.
Age Requirements
The minimum age for renters is 18.
Insurance Requirements
All renters must provide their own full coverage insurance that covers our car on liability and it must transfer over. The customer may not purchase any coverages from us and must have proof of coverages with them at time of rental. You may want to fax over a copy of insurance before rental to avoid any delays at time of rental. Underage fee may apply.
Insurance Policies And Surcharges
It is Florida law to carry proof of liability with the driver at all times. You may elect to purchase additional liability coverage as well. Dream Exotics Miami reserves the right to cancel reservations or rentals to any customer we deem uninsured, underinsured, or otherwise unable to operate the car in a safe and legal manner. In such a situation, the customer will not be charged.
Additional Drivers
Additional driver fee: $299
Minimum Age for Additional Drivers: 18
Prohibited Uses
Our rental vehicles may not be used by:
- Anyone not licensed to drive or whose driver’s license has been suspended or restricted.
- For any illegal purpose or in connection with any illegal activity.
- To carry person or property for hire.
- In any speed test, speed contest, race, rally, speed endurance contest, speed demonstration, on or near any race track or road course (WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THIS — NO insurance company on the planet will cover a rental car while on a track and that means you are on the hook for a LOT of money).
- To teach anyone to drive.
- On any unpaved surface.
IN EVENT OF A VIOLATION OF THESE PROHIBITED USES, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END YOUR RENTAL AND BILL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY AND SECURITY DEPOSIT FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE
Tickets
The renter is responsible for all parking, traffic, speeding or other tickets or violations issued while the vehicle is being rented and must pay for any fees, penalties, towing charges or impound costs.
Customer Pick-Up & Drop-Off
Complimentary customer pickup and drop off at every major hotel in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and the Southern Florida area. Complimentary curbside pickup at the Miami International Airport during normal business hours. After hours pick-up and drop-off available for an additional surcharge.
Vehicle Pick-Up & Drop-Off
We offer a valet service for the vehicle to be delivered to your location or picked up from your location anywhere in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and the Southern Florida area. A Valet Delivery surcharge of $200 applies and this service must be arranged in advance.
